The house dust mite

In practice, under house dust mite we think two arthropod: Dermatophagoides pteronyssus and Dermatophagoides farinae. Theirs size is approx. 0.3 mm long, the spiders are closely related. The number of mites in late spring, late summer and early autumn is the highest, as the humidity of the air in homes is the largest this time due to the lack of heating. In winter, early spring and late autumn the relative humidity of heated homes is around 60 %, which is unfavorable to the mites, their numbers - especially in winter – are the lowest. This unfavorable period only those specimen survive which stay at least several hours a day in appropriate circumstances, for example in warn bed. We can also help their survival times with overheating, over misting houses.
